The Data Protection Act has now been superseded by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) which came into effect on the 25th May 2018.
This new set of regulations are intended to strengthen and unify data protection controls across the EU, bringing the DPA up-to-date with the events and technology changes that have occurred since it was implemented in 1998.
In order to comply with these new regulations I am required to state what, if any, information I hold about my clients, and how securely I hold such data.
I keep NO data on clients, or their systems, other than telephone numbers and possibly email addresses, if contacted via this method.
I will never use this information for anything other than contacting the client.
I will never pass this information on to anyone else.
If you wish me to delete any, or all, of this information please contact me directly and I will do so.
